The son of AIA National Award-winner, Richard Lindstrom, Erik grew up with an immediate and acute appetite for contemporary interiors and architecture and quickly followed suit by attending the Florence Design Academy in Italy. After completing his Master’s degree in Interiors and Furniture Design, Erik worked as an interior designer, focusing on high-end residential interiors and architecture. It was here where he gained a passion and deep understanding of the intricacies of custom, hand-woven rugs.
After establishing relationships with his factories in Nepal, Thailand and Morocco, Erik started Lindstrom Rugs with the intention of designing rugs, which evoke bespoke, timeless luxury. He prides his custom designs on a commitment to quality, and uses an eye trained on urban and natural landscapes to create original patterns and rug concepts. Although based in Los Angeles, Erik fuels his inspiration for design with frequent trips around the US and abroad.

Rodger Stevens is an American artist and sculptor whose principal medium is wire. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Rodger studied at the Parsons School of Design and the School of Visual Arts in New York City and is now an internationally exhibited artist with work in numerous private and institutional collections. His work, while abstract in nature, is firmly rooted in a deep personal narrative and draws heavily upon literature, language, mathematics, human physiology and day to day experience. His hand-crafted sculptural works and wearable pieces embody carefully wrought stories and ideas that are articulated through composition and form. He has brought this same attention to line and narrative to his current collaboration with Lindstrom Rugs, creating a series of works that operate like glyphs: aesthetically rich in appearance, and conceptually rewarding upon closer inspection.
Brian O’Hara has always been drawn to words. A dyslexic that loved to write backwards, Brian creates patterns using mirror-writing, turning his talent into a means of communicating messages of positivity. Brian utilized his 20+ years of experience in fashion, design and brand direction to build a compelling portfolio of more than 20 large-scale projects encompassing upscale restaurants, residential and commercial properties to fashion brands. For Lindstrom, he applied his method to the medium of rugs, using color, texture and pile variants to create bespoke, patterns of organized chaos.
